It does. I think his point has gone over a lot of people's heads as he is more or less echoing frequent complaints.

I don't think his problem is with the use of dwarves. It is the half measured approach to diversity and progress. "We'll stick a latina in the film and call it progress... Never mind the presentation of dwarves as cave dwellers starved of female attention.

from that tweet, i think his whole issue was he didn't want 7 dwarf men living together to be put on screen because they would look like losers. He's technically right to be offended, but i only see resulting in an outcome where less dwarves are represented on tv. not more.
I doubt any other films are going to randomly cast 7 little people in one film. double edged sword. Generally hollywood only cast one or two of them in regular acting roles.
Basically he just ensured that only he Peter Dinklage will get cast in roles going forward. Meanwhile the struggling dwarf actors who would've jumped at a chance to be in this movie will continue to be overlooked (no pun)

But not really. Typecasted means you usually play the same type of character in every role. Tyrion is different from his role in 3 billboards different from death at a funeral etc

They did make him a giant in one of the Thor movies where he helped put a weapon together for him...so there's that.
