Kobe was not more complete or skilled than Kareem. Nobody was.

Handles?
Jumpshooting?
Footwork?
Three-point shooting?

Yeah, he was.

By the way, if I had to rank a player based on career accomplishments combined with overall skill, Kareem will be my number one.

Why would a center have handles and 3 point shot like a guard? Thats like saying Kareem rebounds and blocks>>>Kobes. Kareem lived in the post, but Kobes footwork was better?:mjlol: Kareem was always a complete player since before he was a Laker.

I think it did that for both sides. They were feeding him the ball to celebrate him, not because it was the best chance of scoring. They scored about as well as they usually do, the shots just came almost exclusively from Kobe.

The game really told you all you needed to know about that shot attempt to scoring correlation that you stans don't like to acknowledge. As bad and inefficient as Kobe was this year, even he can put up big numbers with unlimited shots.

BRO U EITHER DIDNT WATCH THE GAME OR UR JUS SLOW....WE WERE DOWN 10 WIT 2 MINS TO GO, KOBE WILLED THE TEAM TO VICTORY ON HIS BACK, MAKIN THE LAST 7 SHOTS HE TOOK. HE WENT 22-50, WHICH IS A RESPECTABLE PERCENTAGE, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, LED TO VICTORY.....MICHAEL JORDAN TOOK 49 ATTEMPTS IN HIS CAREER HIGH GAME, AND HE WASNT 20 SEASONS IN. CMON BRUH, RESPECT GREATNESS WHEN ITS IN YO FACE, CUZ U NEVER GUNA SEE SOMETHIN LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN.

Which is why you shouldn't compare a big man to a perimeter player when assessing pure skill, Einstein. Remember, you're the one who brought up Kareem.

And yes, Kobe has better footwork than Kareem, especially when you factor in that Kobe used footwork from everywhere on the court(post/midrange/top of the key/three-point territory, etc.) while Kareem mainly operated in the post.

Kareem was a complete player; Kobe was the most complete player. Simple as that.

I got him top 8. I can't in good conscience out him over Jordan, Magic, Kareem, or Russell. I could see him being ranked in the next tier somewhere with Shaq, Hakeem, Duncan, Wilt, Oscar, Bird, Lebron. I'd probably go Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Wilt, Hakeem, Lebron, Bird, Oscar.

I whipped up a little something brehs hope y'all read it and comment plus show some love to the podcast :salute:

Kobe’s name has evolved from more than being a name of a person it’s a brand, a brand you can trust. When you do a sick cross over and hit the baseline jumper in 2k what do you usually say? “Kobe” when you’re playing your friends in a pick up game of basketball what do you say when you make an impossible shot? “Kobe” when you’re crumbling up pieces of paper and throwing it into the waste bin…. “Kobe” whether you like it or not Kobe is as great as a player as you think he is, hate it or love it the underdog is on top.

He's top 10.

He's not more talented than Lebron though. He can't carry that 2007 Cavs team to the finals like Lebron could. And for all of those scoring feats Kobe has, Lebron has a higher career points per game average. I think Lebron is top 5 all time, in terms of pure skill.

The list below is just based of off people I've seen play (I'm 35) Yea yea I know I know I'm :flabbynsick:

1. Jordan
2. Kareem
3. Magic
4. Lebron
5. Duncan
6. Kobe
7. Bird
8. Olajuwon
9. Shaq
10. Dr. J
