....go check those GM/coaches/players votes/polls from before the season started and you'll see they still have lebron as the best
:dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead:

This is why you're the WOAT. You don't even know what the fukk you're talking about.

When are you going to drop that "The LeBron James Tyronn Lue Cavs marriage is a testy one so far" thread?

This is nonsense, they both went off.

When I think shytted on I think the Dream vs Ewing in 94:snoop:
I. LeBron stans didn't use that logic in the 2012 Finals (especially since Durant averaged more points on better shooting %s than him in that series) or the career matchups that Durant/LeBron have had, despite both going off. It's always been a case of LeBron 'shytting' on Durant.

I'm only applying the same logic.

II. I don't particularly care if LeBron went off, he was horrible on the defensive end, and regularly took plays off, to conserve energy to put up pretty box score numbers.

@ghostwriterx

Why did you feel the need to call out my post, when the poster I quoted was the one with an egregious take?

:jbhmm:

I wonder what your reaction would be if I said "lol at bytchmade LeBron being the best at anything"....

That was nonsense too. Durant balled out in 2012.

It was nonsense, but that's been posted 100000000000000000x, why have I never seen you address that? Or more to the point, why haven't you addressed the talking point that LeBron shyts on Durant everytime his team wins?

I hate this line of thinking, most annoying thing about sports today and just plain inaccurate. They both played at an extremely high level. One team was better and showed it. End of story. Every game/series doesn't boil down to a one on one.

As for Durant being bytchmade? I think he is. He's definitely talented enough to wear the best player crown, but running to the team he choked against will always be wack to me.

You're a reasonable and fair person - unlike a lot of LeBron stans - I just can't take these posts seriously when you're only starting to make your voice heard when LeBron's at a team disadvantage.

Well, since LeBron's no longer on the better team/environment (definitively), he's at a disadvantage whenever he plays Durant. Same way Durant was at a disadvantage when playing against LeBron for most of his career.

Oh got it. :yeshrug:
As far as regular season meetings I don't put much stock into that "inferior" teams beat better teams all the time and like I said the one on one battle is usually bs anyway. Even in the Finals I thought they were pretty evenly matched, Thunder were just young. If the refs don't miss LeBron's foul on Durant at the end of game 2 could've been a completely different series. I think a lot of the previous criticism of Durant is centered around the fact he never got back to the finals, but it wasn't really his fault. Thunder had incredibly bad luck injury wise his last 4 years in OKC. That was really our best shot at a prime Durant, prime LeBron series.
