Now that we’re grown, did the kids who got whoopings turn out any better(or worse) than the kids who didn’t ?

My friends/cousins/people who I knew that got whooped all the time usually ended up a little worse. Shouldn't be the first line of correction for a kid.

Real shyt breh. Whoopings can easily lose effectiveness if its your goto. And if you gotta do it all the time obviously it aint working. I was like you. Only a few but was not trying to add to that number. In retrospect I think that fear was more effective than actually getting one all the time.

I got ass whooping as a kid when I deserved it and I can honestly say it worked. Definitely kept me on the straight and narrow. But it takes more than whoopings
