I really don't get what the Nets are doing.

Nets have a shyt ton of cap space, and we needed to spend at least 40 million to reach the mandatory salary floor.

MPJ makes 17 mil more than Cam, so taking on his salary was essentially spending money. We signed Zhaire Williams and Day'ron Sharpe, that's 12 million combined. So only 11 million more, and that Will be taken care of by signing Cam Thomas. And we got an unprotected 1st rounder. Plus we're still in position to take for a high pick next year
