At this rate Drake and Em are gona be the faces of rap when history looks back on it. I'm white too, but it's gona be a sad day when the real pioneers and greats are overshadowed by these two.

i think it's more impressive with Em, dude came out the gate rapping his ass off. had underground verses and all, got signed by Dr. Dre and took off after that. Em just started to go full pop. Drake been pop since he started.

but according to The Coli... Drake fell off & people ain't feeling him like that anymore... :skip:
Idk why anyone would say this. He did 500k first week on IYRTITL and he's arguably bigger now than he was then. No one knew that shyt was really coming out. This album he's coming off the biggest song of his career hot line bling, what a time to be alive, the Meek Mill beef that politicians and espn references, Work has been the number one song for 2 months in a row, etc. There was no way he was doing less than what he did on IYRTITL

Breh, in the music industry, numbers always lie.

First off, pretty sure his own label bought copies.
Secondly, they count streams
Third, apparently they count Hotline Bling singles sales or w/e

There is so much bullshyt in the music industry, I'm not gonna believe he "sold" a million in a week no matter what the industry says.

The craziest thing of all is... Who would've thought that a nerdy kid from Toronto who was doing a show on Teen Nick would grow up to have one of the fastest selling albums of all time? That's incredible. :wow:
He surpassed his 4 fathers.. Nick Cannon..Will smith.. the white dude from saved by the bell..and even So so Raven

People listening to your album on a stream counts as a sale?
