Simply put

Good looks = health.

Here are the foundations of good looks.
Healthy weight range (Lean and muscular for men)
Clear skin
Clean straight white teeth
Symmetrical face
Well-developed jawline and chin
Hair(Thick hair, good hairline, good growth)
The package I call it.

And all this is impacted by diet, environment and somewhat lifestyle. A lot of the damage done to people happens during the development phase. If you eat a diet void of real nutrient and live in an environment like today which messes up your endocrine system, it is really a surprise people are uglier today than ever before. They aren’t ugly because of genetic but suffered from maldevelopment.

The problem with medical industry and cosmetic industry is that they solve the end product. Like a child needs his teeth to be corrected or jawline to be fix, They will use abrasive methods to fix the problem. It works only to an extent. But they aren’t addressing the underlying issue. Look at breast cancer. Instead of informing women what really causes breast cancer, you have women today cutting of their breast because they think they might have the breast cancer gene. :mindblown: This is the world we live in and modern medical science.

When all this could easily have been prevented with a healthy nutrient dense diet free of processed food. Look at Africans and Asians in underdeveloped areas. Sure they might be poor but they are radiant healthy people

how does nutrition affect teeth? You don't use toothpaste?

Toothpaste doesn't make your teeth healthy, just like taking a bath doesn't make your bones stronger.

Tooth decay and gum disease are caused by a lack of minerals and vitamins (aka malnutrition). Not only is processed food lacking in nutrition, but sugar and other acidic foods flush out the minerals that are stored in your bones and teeth in order to maintain the body's normal pH balance.

The need for 80% of modern medicine and close to 100% of modern dentistry is due to eating low nutrient processed foods.

One thing I noticed is most vegans dont look healthy :heh:

I think I may limit "processed" foods to 2-3 meals a month, and for other stuff try to get on that Non GMO tip. Like I said before once I finish up my bodybuilding supps I`m going to not re up on the normal stuff, probably will use Plant Based protein (I see Naked Nutrition makes a good Pea Protein, and SAN Raw Fusion is a mixed plant protein thats amino profile is modeled after Whey), and Vegan Caffeine tabs/BCAA pre workout.

Any of you guys ever look into Dr.Sebi products? I know the whole Alkaline stuff is BS, but he does have some overall health products that look interesting.

Everyone has different national needs. Really depends on what kind of body you're going for. I was a fat kid growing up. Now I'm slim and probably in the best shape of my life as adult. I keep my diet simple and eat the same thing almost everyday. Keeps my weight in control regardless of how much exercise I do.

Breakfast: eggs maybe a handful of whole grain rice and some black beans
Lunch: anything I want as long as it isn't fried
Dinner: whole grain rice, spinach or cabbage and some kind of protein: steak, broiled chicken, fish

In between meals I'm eating bananas or Greek yogurt or pistachios or some oatmeal & drinking 128 oz of water. Nights I'm drinking wine or a couple good beers.

I eat something off my list every 2.5-3 hrs. Never be hungry that's where bad habits come from.

Twice a month or so I go off plan and eat candy or order takeout.

The main thing is to stay away from processed food, fast food, sugars, white flour/ white rice or mayo. Eat green leafy vegetables and stay away from anything frozen or in a can that isn't essential.

Garlic, turmeric, oregano, olive oil & cayenne pepper are your friend. Use them excessively.

Nutritional value. That's what should be driving your food choices. There's really no reason to ever eat white rice. It might as well be ice cream.

I posted Dr. Sebi's food list. Those are things you can eat to be healthy. Mostly fruits and vegetables. Dr. Sebi is vegan (no animal products) but I think you can eat meat, just don't combine it with the fruit. You can start your day off with fruit, maybe as many as five pieces or more. Then start eating vegetables. I like meat salads. Instead of eating a hamburger, I make a salad, add 2-3 tablespoons of ground beef then garnish with onions, mustard, everything but the bread.

White bread, white rice, and pasta are just empty carbs with no nutrients. They actually leech vitamins and minerals from your body just like sugar but not as fast. Brown rice and whole grains aren't much better but if you have no money, they are better than starving, eat white rice if it tastes better.

To keep your teeth healthy, eliminate soda both regular and diet. Soda has phosphorous and too much disturbs the balance of minerals in the body. You still brush and floss but it is not as important as your diet. Find out what vitamins and minerals are needed for healthy teeth and gums and eat foods high in those nutrients. Everything you eat or drink should have nutrients, except water.
