Uh, his bball reference weight aka his DRAFT weight!?
So I guess we should only think of these players as these weights:
Kobe Bryant, 178lbs
Kevin Durant, 215lbs
Kevin Garnett, 217lbs
Nerlens Noel, 218lbs
Anthony Davis, 222lbs
Joakim Noah, 223lbs
Tyson Chandler, 224lbs
David Robinson, 226lbs

You honestly think his frame was always "215"!? Try 225-240 playing weight range through the rest of his career. And this was before lifting weights became popular. For comparison, David Robinson - even by 1992, was only 235lbs, and
Dwight Howard was 240 his first season and that was after he'd been lifting for a few years to prep for the NBA. Bill Russell with weights would be no smaller than any other typical size big man today if that's the body he wanted to achieve, as a young rookie he had a world class Track athletes body with a 7-4 wingspan. When he filled out, he was strong enough to tangle with Wilt - and Wilt was 300lbs.
