Hideo Itami won the NXT tournament for a spot in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, but it was a last minute decision.

The original plan was for Finn Balor or Adrian Neville to go over. When the match was moved to the pre-show, the decision was changed to Itami. He was selected to tie him into Tatsumi Fujinami going into the WWE Hall of Fame, as there were a lot of Japanese media in town covering Fujinami.

Hmm...with Becky Lynch being a heel Irish rocker chick and Sheamus being a heel & mohawked-up now, isn't pairing them up pretty much inevitable?

Almost wouldn't mind Balor in there having Sheamus as his new Bad Luck Fale (though I originally wanted him to have nothing to do with Sheamus), sitting on Sheam's shoulders while Becky does the hair thing.
