You made the argument that there'd be more shootings if those guns were still on the streets. I pointed out that the violent crime rate has been steadily falling, so absent some other factor, why would there be more shootings, even with more guns available? After all, there's 16,000 fewer guns on the streets and yet the number of shootings has flatlined.
its a good point but thats why i say we cant solely base our opinion on stats. we gotta think outside the box on some of this shyt. there has to be some variable we arent seeing. nonetheless, we have to understand cops have a job to do and even tho they will never be able to full stop crime from happening, taking 16,000 guns off the street is still good work.
