The best part is we all know Mike is way too self-absorbed to even poke fun at himself and brush off the video with some humor.

He knows what he's doing. He's in on the act too. You dont think he knows Twitter is keeping his show as popular as it is? You Tube too. I bet he watches all of them and loves the fact people record everything and it circulates on the web. The guy doesnt have to watch the games anymore or work during the summer.
Once Mike starts changing what's working, he's not the same. People watch/listen to the show now because they get a kick of how much of a prick he is to people.
He fits in the interviews(which are boring and no one cares about) and the serious calls about the Mets that no one cares about...but other than that people tune in for the comedy.
