You talked about lack of male role models and family structure. Gee, could that be related perhaps to the exodus of blue collar livable wage-providing jobs for Black people already in redlined communities that occurred over the past several decades?
There is negative correlation between poverty and marriage of people of all races. People living in economic and resource-deprived communities have less marriage-eligible options around them and are seen as less marriageable themselves, so marriage rates are lower. Nobody tells poor ass white trash “You need to rebuild your culture and family structure, blah blah blah.”
Are middle class and affluent Black people going around “spinning blocks and smoking opps”? No.
Are Black people in Canada? No.
