That’s not what he said but dap fish.

We about to act like all the jobs he said aren’t mostly immigrants who have no American education

:mjlol:

Dunkin’ Donuts? Can’t recall the last time I saw an American working at one. The ones who get academics leave and actually join the white collar

:stopitslime:

Ari is right. People these days love to just be victims

:heh:

around my way subway and dunkin donut workers are typically students in some comp sci or med school program at one of the local universities. i’m legit talking about most of them.

I see what he was trying to say but, thats something you have to be very careful with how you word it. 1st off you cant call out specific occupations because there are plenty of people who worked those jobs temporarily before moving up, and 2nd no entire group wants to be outright labeled as having low academic skills.

Trump was president and had the biggest corner office in NYC probably, he’s a idiot, that weren’t for the fact of being rich would have never finished college.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a fukking lunatic idiot who would get fired the first day.

lauren boebert Didn’t finish high school and probably isn’t even qualified to work at Dunkin’ donuts.

these are examples of very low skilled individuals who wouldn’t be able cut it at fast food, but got their high positions on Privilege and anything other than “skills”. The mayor should know better than to speak like this:francis:

plenty of people working dunkin donuts can perform office jobs, data entry, etc.:comeon:
Technically he said “academic” skills, not academic or intellectual potential. He also said “to sit in a corner office. Corner office jobs aren’t standard office and data entry jobs. “Corner office” jobs are high level white collar jobs, though that term may be outdated now.

Not saying his delivery wasn’t trash. He should definitely have boilerplate statements to prevent this sort of thing, but technically speaking, he’s telling the truth (for the most part).

I don’t know many college students that have office jobs that typically require a degree.

and is this Chicago or NY?

Shoe shine people...lol this is 1997...Shoe shine...and the milk man arent skilled enough lol...Also he is generalizing...Yes a 45 year old dishwasher most likely doesnt have the skill to be in corporate BUT ALOT of the dunkin donut and other works are 18-25 and they are about to or are going to school and WILL have the skills...Also alot of those works are from different countries and are happy to have reliable running water when they go back to their one bedroom that fits 4

Theres no reason to make a statement like that say what you are saying in a different way...You lake the skill to get your point across tactfully
