He pretty much only won because his opponent was basically a cartoon parody of Republicans - a scarecrow would've beaten that cacThat press conference where he started talking about NYC having swagger because he has swagger and then proceeding to low-key shyt on "unskilled" residents was WOAT level.
It's like they just grabbed a random breh off the street and let him be mayor.

He forgot the Milk Man and the door to door salesmen he talkin like its the 80's/90'sHe said "my shoe shiners"

He said “corner office”. That’s not data entry and mail room office job status. There are low skilled workers in offices too. They are the people you just mentioned.plenty of people working dunkin donuts can perform office jobs, data entry, etc.![]()
People 7+ year in Corporate already don't have Corner offices lol...Hes talking like Having SKill = Corner Office....Doesnt work that way...Alot of people have to like you and say yes and approve and there have to be as many or more corner offices than people who deserve them in your company...Its not just O I have good skills wheres my corner office....The statement shows lack of experience if that thought went through my head I would have to pause and I would sayexcuse me while I think of the correct words to say and stand thereExactly.
Entry level people in my field (Product side of Software, not Engineering) make 90k. I could teach a McDonald's cashier the job in 3 months where it would probably take me 6 or more to teach a professional accountant.
Why? Because the McDonald's cashier has SKILLS. Utilizing empathy, being humble, being a good team member, being presented with and solving problems on the fly, prioritization, customer service. And there's way more.
It's just that people don't want to recognize nor attribute value to them. Therefore they get kept out of the corner office jobs.
And it’s infuriating. How the fukk do they not? When I see people always go to “File” for a function IMost ppl don’t even know how to use Excel for data entry
Watching someone go to the toolbar just to copy a cell will make your soul burn. They gon learnDude sounding more like a empty suit, doing what his paymasters tell him to do...![]()

Most ppl don’t even know how to use Excel for data entry
I'm not being obtuse. Sometimes it is best just to call a spade a spade.
The fact of the matter is they are jobs that don't require a lot of skills. You start saying essential worker should get paid more, you get harlots like Blackpeal talking about they should go and find better jobs.
Fact of the matter is people have different competencies. This is something that should be acknowledged and accepted. The solution for someone working at McDonald's shouldn't be finding a better job as it might be all they're qualified to do.
The focus should be ensuring that anyone working a full time job is paid enough money to make ends meet. I get that people will bring up smaller businesses and what not but my view is that it should operate in a manner that is similar to furlough. If small businesses can only pay a certain amount, then subsidise it and balance things out by taxing companies that earned billions through unskilled labour more.
The ones who can leave Dunkin’ Donuts to go do that. Ain’t no academic Indian working at No Dunkin’ Donuts

Yeah but most people who do those jobs suck at customer service, which is a skill, if they paid more, people the quality of service would go up because you would have higher quality workers
Do u understand margins breh? You can't afford to pay ppl more when operating off a razor thin margin as is...the services would have to change. Big macs would need to cost 13$ not $5...
