Jesus Christ we need to invest More resources in PR because people want to be victims

:pachaha:

Be a goofball and not get what the man said brehs

Or, he could just not be stupid.

No offense but you cats apply Coli Logic™ to real world situations.

Is what he said....accurate, for lack of a better word? Yes.

Can he just dumb out and say whatever pops into his mind, public relations be damned? No.

He's an elected official. He does need PR.

People are too full of shyt.

If a qualified man applied for a job he was overqualified for, the first thing that would get him struck is the belief that he would leave once something better comes along.

I'm sure you have the odd academic working those roles. I'm sure you have students working those roles part-time, but by and large the fulltime employees are not qualified for certain roles.

Getting bent out of shape about it is no different to getting bent out of shape about saying someone working as an Accountant is not qualified to be a surgeon.

The focus should be on ensuring they're paid a wage that allows them to live comfortably.

:gucci:

I feel like you cats are being intentionally obtuse.

Is it ok to say a surgeon is more skilled than an accountant? Yes.

Is it ok to say an accountant is low skilled, because he couldn't be a surgeon? No.

Is it especially stupid to say this, when a city full of "low skilled" people elected you? Yes.

Not sure why this is confusing some of yall.

Lol he should have just said “essential workers.” Talk about unforced error:mjlol:
Dunking donuts isn't essential. He meant that.

Going to the back to pick up Nikes for people to buy require zero skill. My first job

Some jobs are low skill. Hanging clothes on a rack at burlington coat factory requires zero skill.

The second job I ever had.

Making sandwiches at Subway requires zero skill. My third job.

I was once a low skilled worker.

Gave me the character to have a job that requires skill

That press conference where he started talking about NYC having swagger because he has swagger and then proceeding to low-key shyt on "unskilled" residents was WOAT level.

It's like they just grabbed a random breh off the street and let him be mayor.
Sounds just like this

He’s a neo colonial puppet being used to attack NYC’s black population in the wake of the George Floyd protests.

Above the fray.
He could of worded it differently, but I don't see much long term backlash coming from the folks who work those jobs he described.
Everybody knows where Mayor Adams is from, and what his family background was. In his campaign ads, he mentioned his Mother holding down 2-3 of these kinds of jobs to raise him.
