He sounds like he lacks the academic skills to sit in a corner office.

:mjlol:
Pot calling kettle. When this clown was the definition of low-skill in being a cop.

He completed an associate and 6 weeks in the ‘ademy. Now he better than service industry workers?

fukkin knew this clown is a kneepad for the wealthy of ny.

I feel like you cats are being intentionally obtuse.

Is it ok to say a surgeon is more skilled than an accountant? Yes.

Is it ok to say an accountant is low skilled, because he couldn't be a surgeon? No.

Is it especially stupid to say this, when a city full of "low skilled" people elected you? Yes.

Not sure why this is confusing some of yall.

Fred.

I'm not being obtuse. Sometimes it is best just to call a spade a spade.

The fact of the matter is they are jobs that don't require a lot of skills. You start saying essential worker should get paid more, you get harlots like Blackpeal talking about they should go and find better jobs.

Fact of the matter is people have different competencies. This is something that should be acknowledged and accepted. The solution for someone working at McDonald's shouldn't be finding a better job as it might be all they're qualified to do.

The focus should be ensuring that anyone working a full time job is paid enough money to make ends meet. I get that people will bring up smaller businesses and what not but my view is that it should operate in a manner that is similar to furlough. If small businesses can only pay a certain amount, then subsidise it and balance things out by taxing companies that earned billions through unskilled labour more.

Is this a serious question?

Not everyone is given the same opportunities. There is some dumb ass white collar workers same as there is some intelligent blue collar workers.
Cats act like people that got office jobs are wizards or some shyt. :mjlol:

Fred.
With the invention of hiring websites if you arent in a better position than a dunkin donuts worker thats on you

either you aren’t qualified (harsh realities) or you are to lazy to pursue. Either way its your fault.

Terrible choice of words however if you are a low skilled worker in NYC there are so many free ways to get skills. College is free (CUNY), Skills and certs are free (SUNY Skills), free coursera courses for NYC residents, etc.

There are plenty of opportunities out here

ok, who will do the jobs they leave behind?

the phrase "low-skills" was conjured up to justify low pay.
