AGREED! All those gains will be fukking lost, all people some people out here eating bat soup. fukk this shyt. All holiday plans ruined too.

Yep all that "independence" came back to haunt everyone, maybe if we really had a "one world government" that would limit everyone from consuming certain things we wouldn't have this issue.

But that would mean cacs would'nt have as much power as they do so that's a no no.

Bruh I just saw mine closed on Facebook. Ffs man. I wanted to see if my 1RM on OHP went up. Now I wont know for two weeks at least. Worst, my strength will regress a bit. These calesthenics cats dont understand just how much more “use it or lose it” counts for weightlifting.
shyt like this depressing. My bench has been going up and down because i havent been eaching much and i was sick. Last nov i was throwing up 240 at 1 rep. I was struggling with 190 for regular reps late feb. I was scheduled to hit 210 again as reg....imma lose at least 2 weeks of progress if i dont do a mil push ups a day. Getting back to were i was is going to be fukking painful and I'll have to change my diet again.

I dont have a pull bar so that shyt is set back:francis:

Bruh:francis:I had a cold and stayed out of the gym go for 6 days last week and felt the difference in the gym. Gains are going to be at WOAT levels because 2 weeks is an optimistic guess. Its gonna be even worse for those on nearly full lockdown...them pounds gonna creep up and the strength down. Im gonna be in the park like Barstars for the foreseeable future. Pray for the gains, man.:mjcry:

Edit: no more barbell squats, OHP, or deadlifts for weeks. Inconceivable.

I'm telling y'all you'll be right back to where you were before. A lot of weightlifters get injured or sick, lose all of their muscle mass, miss months, and comeback stronger because of muscle memory. Even if gyms are closed for 2 months you'll hit your peak numbers within 2 weeks.

2 weeks is fine. I’ve taken 2 week breaks several times and my strength level was back to normal by my 2nd or 3rd gym session.

A 1 month closure might be a problem though.:sadcam:

Never heard of body weight exercises and calisthenics? You got YouTube too and even inmates smuggling phones into prison showing you exercise routines and cooking lessons uploading videos on youtube. How are you not good?

Breh come on. Those take extremely long to see results from and even then you max out because your body gets accustomed to lifting itself over and over

calisthenics are fine but how do you replace squats and deadlifts? The two big exercises that help people gain weight in the first place

My apartment gym still open, and I haven’t received an email from Crunch Fitness about their closings, and I hope not cause I’ll miss my HIIT classes :mjcry:

last i went was the first wk of march w/ a pair of work gloves on. ive never worn gloves to the gym in my entire life. couldnt touch my phone to change or repeat songs. constantly trying to be mindful not to wipe my face. didnt really feel comfortable taking the top of my water bottle. i quickly realized it wasnt worth it.
