I just got back from up there this weekend, had to take my wife up there to see her uncle who's real sick with stomach cancer. We had enough time to hit some of our food spots (no Flor de Mayo this time :sadcam:) but our last night I had a taste for a beef pattie with cheese and sausage. So as we was driving back to our hotel in LIC, I stopped off at one of my spots on Bushwick Ave and Montrose, right next to the train station. The spot had changed a lot since I had been in there; and you could see they changed with all the hipsters that live there now; they expanded the back to be a little sit down restaurant/bar, and the slices were now $2.75 :wtf: And while me and wifey are sitting there waiting for our order, I see this hipster and his broad come in pick up their order, and before son sits down he asks for a KNIFE AND FORK.... I couldn't help but stand there looking at him like :scust: It was like everything about what went wrong with the city encapsulated.
wtf????!!! Beef patty with a knife and fork :scust:yuh mad?

Check it out though. It's one thing if you move to nyc on a mission with nothing and leave out with something. It's another if you move into it worst off than when you came in unless you're born and raise there. Many the natives that were born in the city leave there on the come up. You got transplants moving there and coming out broke or in debt. You have a lot of people that move into nyc and leave with nothing, simply wasting their time. It used to be the other way around. If you leave nyc, at least be moving on up to better things. Not moving all the way back to your parents house because you weren't serious. There's way too many opportunities and connections in nyc to leave with nothing.
This is the realest post in this thread.

I wanna visit but I already know I couldn't live there. Don't like the gun laws and to many ppl. I would feel claustrophobic and my anxiety would make me go crazy. I would love to just skate around and shred some NYC spots. Are the Brooklyn banks still there? @1984
Brooklyn Banks is closed. Closed in 2010.

Another annoyance...

People approaching you on the sidewalk and conviently going to the other side of the street before they cross your path. Like wtf? Im sick of some of the rude ass racist people in the Ridgewood area.

Yep the bathroom in Columbus circle are the best in the city, super clean and never packed. Here is a tip, if you in the city and need to hit a bathroom , go to a hotel , no one uses them and they always clean.

The go to bathroom spot if you had to piss used to be Barnes and Noble. They used to be everywhere. Me and my boys used to hit up the one on Astor Place anytime we were in the Village. If you got to shyt then hold it for Columbus Circle.

I forgot to add:
-the African ladies on 125 asking, "braids, twists?" to everyone who walks by even if you don't have enough hair to braid or twist:stopitslime:

-the Dominicans who are outside of their building in the summer at 2am with their whole family. Mother, father, abuela, and kids of all ages. Why you got infants out that late?:what:

-the Dominicans on the train with their whole family heading to the beach in the summer. I literally saw about 15 of them get on the train with a boom box playing loud as hell and they set up a table in the middle of the car and played dominos:why:

- cafes and bistros in Harlem and there's not one black person dining:mjpls:

I went to this place called Q's with the homie...the shyt was surreal. It looked like a bar and then I went inside and there was just these two broads stripping (one white, one black) and just like 40 nikkas standing around wearing J's and polos and all manner of expensive clothes...smoking blunts and ice grilling reality.

I was like WTF...why are we here breh??

We also hit up Inner Room, Pleasure Palace...and some other spot where the strippers looked like they were praying for death

As you can tell my homie is a fan of these types of establishments:lolbron:

I did go to this one dope spot called Chez Quans that was some kind of weird Thai Fusion food but it was dope, and I chopped it up with the owner about hip hop the entire time we ate :ehh:

He tried to put me on to Westside Gunn and lo and behold when I came back home I started hearing about dude:jbhmm:
Breh I have no idea where your homie took you too. He showed you the bottom of the barrel in a bottom of the barrel town lmao

Only place I been to was inner room. shyt is like 10 min from the crib. We went for my bday 2 years ago and one of my good CAC friends was feeding me shots of fireball. Breh I was obliterated at inner room they told me I was dancing on couches and trying to dance on strippers that night:laff::laff:

Canada (Toronto) is also decent

Trinidad I have'nt been since I was 12...it heard it's gotten real bad...

Go to Germany in the Summer. So many mixed race thots that give you p*ssy with ease. :ohlawd:

Or go to a high end resort in Jamaica. So many married hoes with loose morals :scheme:
