JP Sears does his thing, and we can't wait to demote him (eventually deal him). Clarke Schmidt was a top 2 prospect in our system. Now he's a mop up guy. Ken Waldichuk, 24 years old in AAA, Cone would rep hard for him. We never even considered him. Are they really afraid that a rookie coming up potentially getting his ass kicked destroys his value beyond repair? Mackenzie Gore was hurt in the minors, then pitched so bad he got sent back down to A ball, finally makes the show, pitches medicore as fukk and STILL was a key piece in getting Juan Soto.

At this point, it's not that Cashman sucks at identifying promising pitchers, but the development of those arms have been detrimental to the future outlook of the major league staff.

The only starter that can be counted on kinda consistently right now is taken out of the game in the 5th inning with 83 pitches and 1 hit.
