Yeah it’s disappointing, but in all honesty tough to get on Montas since he hasn’t pitched in two weeks. Just forget about it and move on.this is where I can't shyt on the GM but rather the players. We all woulda wanted these guys. They gotta hold up their end.
i know it has to be selective memory but it always seems like these completely garbage hitters will put up half their stats vs the YankeesPaul DeJong. 130 hitter. Also a Yankee killer
It was probably a blow because him getting traded was so random and right at the deadline. Gallo got moved but even he knew what was up. Everyone else was for prospects. They dealt him like he was a problem, and to be fair, the team to this day probably still doesn't fukk with German. They just tolerate him since he's still on the team.Listening to WFAN this weekend getting in and out of the car I heard a caller make a good point. Is it possible the J. Montgomery trade was a blow to team morale?
He had been a Yankee multiple years without a trip to the minors so a major cog in the rotation. So I'm sure many teammates on the MLB club thought of him as a major part of the club.
Oh yeah, and they keep German that's an added layer. It was probably a blow because him getting traded was so random and right at the deadline. Gallo got moved but even he knew what was up.
