Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
City buses having cameras isn’t new wtf?

Since they made more bus lanes they put cameras in it. Also if you park in a bus stop you deserve a ticket. What’s up with you people thinking you can drive and stop where ever you want. Nothing worse then a car blocking a bus stop and cause a domino effect of traffic after the fact

I used to drive courier/deliveries

between no parking as it is and whole blocks of parking spaces being removed for bicycles, this is just another reason to nickel and dime residents

I get enforcement but isn’t that the Nypd’s job? This is literally just a money grab along with the 24 hour speeding cameras

It's not a money grab... if you park when a bus isn't there you won't get a ticket...

The camera will only see your plate if your car is actively blocking the bus from stopping where it should

:yeshrug:

I think this is more about prevention than a money grab... how many complaints, about busses not stopping where they should, came in before the city decided to provide thousands of dollars installing cans?

The whole reason for both of those is the perception that NYPD is not doing their job and won't give people tickets for these things.

Here's another rule, this time "just" a proposal, because NYPD is not giving enough tickets for bike lane enforcement.
