Yea and I’m asking you what exactly is disrespectful?

If you were living in those buildings you’d really let the Cacs taking pics in front of your buildings fukk your day up?

I don’t think the average person living in those buildings gives a damn.

Do better. This is not something the black community should be worried about. Lol.

You don't see how people treating where you live like it's a zoo isn't a problem?

whole foods is the most expensive grocery chain in america. given that it now resides in a once majority black neighborhood, it's indicative of how the demographics is shifting. long time residents didn't suddenly get a raise in income to warrant the growing high end retailers the neighborhood is attracting. The cost of housing going up and cost of buying goods and services in their neighborhood rising makes it increasingly inhospitable to residents with generations of history there. they are purposely getting displaced by being priced out.

It’s messed up that the mindset is blacks can’t afford to shop at Whole Foods...like all of us are dirt poor & only use ebt

You mean tourist? NYC is the most toured city in America.

If they were taking pics in Manhattan would you have called Manhattan a zoo?

You’re the one calling black people living in projects the zoo

Harlem has a bodega on every block.

You happy now?

:mjlol:

But today I was pleased to see there are several black owned healthy eats in the area.

Yea but for a place with Marcus Garvey Park, a Harriet Tubman tribute, Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz center

And streets named A. Phillip Randolph, W.E.B. Dubois, Malcolm X etc..

The whole foods was disappointing. What it represents is disappointing. I don't know what to tell you

This really speaks to the greatness of Jay more than anything else

Breh New York really lost because people come from the rest of the world to pay respects to the former residency of one of the cities most famous poets

And don't even get me started on Baltimore and the Edgar Allen Poe house
