Retaliation killings, stabbings, shootings really hurt the Carnival vibes. I done seen dudes get stabbed up during fireworks. Dudes getting jumped in Mangroves. And I'll never forget that Jouvert back in 92 when a breh came in with a fukking bat. One of these a$$hole bands won the road March that year with the song "Come in the Jam like I don't give a damn. Better duck yo rass, Bat in my hand". fukkery.
