Some states you do a robbery and your partner somehow gets killed they charge you with homicide too even though you didn't kill anyone.

One witness told the Daily News that before cops arrived, the suspect, dressed in black, could be seen forcing two employees to the back of the store holding what looked like a gun. As cops arrived within minutes, the robbery erupted in chaos.

Officers frantically called for help as more than 50 shots were discharged, sources said.

Reports are that the robber had a toy gun. Sounds like incompetence on the NYPD's behalf is why one of their brethren was fatally wounded.

Yeah our cops are NOT properly trained. Back when Eric Garner was killed they had gone on record saying something along the lines of the entire department should be retrained. That obviously never happened.

County wide cops are ultra trigger happy and we see it every day. They're not supposed to act like Joe Citizen and panic. That's literally what the training is supposed to be for.

Of course they blame the robber even though he had a fake gun. Why take blame for your own incompetence? If he didn't shoot first (clearly) why did they start shooting in the first place?
