This leak supposedly came from Trump Towers and there's more to come. Looks like we'll be :eat:good all month.

And even if this isn't illegal, this should go a long way in shattering his good businessman image. And undermining his populist, every-man message. Loses billions, stiffs contractors, small businesses and pays no federal taxes; uses his "charity" (which doesn't have the right certification) as a slush fund; indulges in pay to play; proudly brags about bribing politicians; a serial philanderer; and a rapist. Looks like Trump is literally the embodiment of the specter that surrounds Clinton... bu bu but she coughed. :francis:

His supporters happily overlook all of this.

I wonder how Donald Trump is able to legally pay less taxes than his secretary? :jbhmm:
As long as there are no legal consequences, everything is fine, right? I hope you all apply this across the board, and not just towards one person. This thread is going to serve as a good reference point at least.

Slavery was the law at one point in America...People who use the "just following the law" argument should NEVER be allowed in positions of power...

Equate having slaves to not paying more then the minimum amount of taxes, breh.

You do realize tons of people do their taxes this way, not just Trump, don't you?

During the Great Recession when everyone was taking losses it was common place.

On another note Trump apparently raped a 13 year old girl? I'm just hearing about this.

all you "he followed the laws :manny:" people don't get it. it's not that trump followed the law, it's that his accountants have been playing sorcery with the tax laws doing everything they can do to confuse auditors and muddy the waters. that's why he's been audited for so long. they know he's doing something that stinks, but the irs simply doesn't have the resources and time to turn over every stone and catch him on his bs.

Of course his accountants played sorcery with tax laws...that's their job lol. Do you not use accountants to find deductions in your tax liabilities? The tax code is notoriously byzantine, most people have to rely on experts to reduce their liability. To say the IRS simply doesn't have the resources to find something on Trump is just conjecture based on your dislike of Trump. If you have any evidence of Trump breaking the tax law, please forward it to the proper authorities.

this same "he's following the law :manny:" bs is the same reason why george zimmerman got off for murdering trayvon. people like this b*stardize the intent and meaning of laws to get themselves out of trouble. it's absolutely does not mean they are right.
First, there's an obvious difference between murder and not paying one's taxes. Second, the anger at the Zimmerman verdict should be directed at the judicial system that allowed him to get away with it, just like the anger at Trump being able to legally pay next to no taxes should be directed at the political system that allows him to do so. To focus on the individual is missing the forest for the trees.

In the case of taxes? ...Yeah. And of course I apply this across the board, I've been saying since this issue came up that every 1%er does this. It's both a strategic and rational mistake to focus on a person not paying more taxes than they're legally required instead of the politicians that made it legal for them to do so in the first place. Businesspeople are not, and should not, be held responsible for stewarding society. That's the job of politicians. You cannot have a functional society based on the honour of the business class to look out for society as a whole.

one of the most puzzling things about trump is how he seems to succeed at connecting with "regular"/"blue-collar"/middle-to-lower class types. he's a wealthy dude with access and influence in government, he unapologetically uses foreign manufacturing and workers, he happily uses his means to shirk taxes in ways they could never even dream of, he stiffs "the little guy", etc. he basically is the living embodiment of everything they rally against. he's literally done everything that HE himself rallies against.

yet they eat it up all this "i'm gonna fight for you!" shyt and actually buy what he's selling. like, how the fukk can you really believe that donald j. trump, the famously self-serving, egomaniacal, blowhard is actually really running for president to fundamentally change shyt to work against himself. :mindblown:

:jawalrus:Financially illiterate nikkas have exposed themselves in this thread...

I dont blame him IF he did carry that Net Operating Loss for as long as possible...why should he give the Government $ I000,000,000 dollars to go buy more bombs to drop on poor people if the tax code says he doesnt have to.

You dumb nikkas act like if you had the choice you would cheerfully give the IRS a BILLION DOLLARS of YOUR hard earned money just because your some kind of :cape:super patriotic idiot

He probably used it to expand his business create jobs and contracts for other people...That 1 Billion did more for America with trump spending it than the Pentagon.
