I'm not twisting myself into a pretzel at all. On the contrary, you are, hence why you have no daps in this exchange so far because no one can follow your illogical argument and position.

failing infrastructure, underfunded xyz = bad

not paying taxes = good

Got it.

Tax laws will always have loopholes, it is impossible to create a complex system of rules for 319 million people that is not filled with them. I think its perfectly reasonable to hold both parties accountable.
Accountable for what? If I'm running a business, or even just a private individual, I have a vested interest in legally minimizing my tax liability. Are you not claiming any deductions that you're legally entitled to? It's not immoral, it's just rational. You should be pointing your anger at the people responsible for creating and enforcing the tax code for society's benefit, but instead you're relying on inmates to police themselves :heh:.

You're essentially advocating for a tax honour system :mjlol:

That's what happens when legislation is based on the interests of the ruling class.

I wonder how Donald Trump is able to legally pay less taxes than his secretary? :jbhmm:

First of all, I'm not angry at all, I accept that most people are selfish fukks. 2nd, they aren't just using deductions, I am claiming that what they are doing falls into a grey area, and its just very difficult to prove tax fraud or evasion. If you mic'd up the accountants offices at google or apple or trump, you'd be able to prove it, but we wouldn't hold DJT or larry page liable for any of it.

This leak supposedly came from Trump Towers and there's more to come. Looks like we'll be :eat:good all month.

And even if this isn't illegal, this should go a long way in shattering his good businessman image. And undermining his populist, every-man message. Loses billions, stiffs contractors, small businesses and pays no federal taxes; uses his "charity" (which doesn't have the right certification) as a slush fund; indulges in pay to play; proudly brags about bribing politicians; a serial philanderer; and a rapist. Looks like Trump is literally the embodiment of the specter that surrounds Clinton... bu bu but she coughed. :francis:

Unfortunately, yes, and I see no benefit from them. No health care. shytty infrastructure.

But meanwhile these pigs get ammo to use to subjugate and oppress me and my people and I'm being extorted to fund that shyt.

This is a terrible rationale.

all you "he followed the laws :manny:" people don't get it. it's not that trump followed the law, it's that his accountants have been playing sorcery with the tax laws doing everything they can do to confuse auditors and muddy the waters. that's why he's been audited for so long. they know he's doing something that stinks, but the irs simply doesn't have the resources and time to turn over every stone and catch him on his bs.

this same "he's following the law :manny:" bs is the same reason why george zimmerman got off for murdering trayvon. people like this b*stardize the intent and meaning of laws to get themselves out of trouble. it's absolutely does not mean they are right.
