Why should I absolve them of responsibility or give them the opportunity to fix a problem they made worse under their watch?

They didn't make it worse, theirs been no policy created, illegals coming over because they fear upcoming legislation isn't the administrations fault. Youre blaming Trump for illegals decisions to use every means that had been previously opened to them from prior administrations

Obama may have started the problem when he tried to allow the kids to get in and caused a massive wave of immigration. It's only gotten worse since then.

i'm talking about immigration when i say shut down the border. And if certain trade aspects are impacted so be it. It's insane Mexico allowed a caravan of people migrate from their southern border to their northern border illegally. Imagine a group of Russians migrating through Canada and entering the US (and Alaska) - it would never happen,so why is Mexico ALLOWING that? Mexico should be our first line of defense!
