neither has anything to do with the timing of immigrants coming over, which would have halted due to no jobs during the end of Bush and beginning of Obama's first 3-4 years in office. So Bush had 7years of immigration (due to a good economy) and Obama had 4 years, so of course immigration fell or wasn't as much during Obama's tenure. This has already been discussed before, so not going back and forth with something has proven to be factual. Furthermore there was no signfiicant policy change that would have lessen illegal immigration under Obama (except making illegal's legal, which skews the numbers even more)

i'm talking about immigration when i say shut down the border. And if certain trade aspects are impacted so be it. It's insane Mexico allowed a caravan of people migrate from their southern border to their northern border illegally. Imagine a group of Russians migrating through Canada and entering the US (and Alaska) - it would never happen,so why is Mexico ALLOWING that? Mexico should be our first line of defense!

furthermore, we all have seen the news, countless of these people are traveling illegally and entering Mexico illegally, they aren't waiting to apply for proper visas. Mexico may be giving out paperwork but that is only to get them to the border of the US and pass them off.
