Bout to dump astraweb. Can't believe i'm having problems d/l th latest releases. 
Went with the shytty version of homeland(less than 40mb file) and the sh*t is taking foever to finish.

The takedowns seem to be focused on specific studio releases, like Warner Brothers (look at all the fukked up TDKR files). Your downloads may not be on the takedown radar...............

Yeah it's weird.. every Sunday my astraweb is slow as shyt. Downloading Dexter now and it's telling me it's gonna take 5 hours. Any other time it's fast.. done in less than 20.. but whenever I wanna download the Sunday crop of shows I'm stuck waiting forever.
Man, I just tried grabbing the latest Homeland episode and TWD and that shyt was staying in the 200KB/s range.
I just canceled it. I'm about to play Halo and call it a night. I'll check again later. Let me run a speed test to check if my ISP ain't acting up right now.

I tried that one too. It was still slow for me.
I'll try again later. No rush to get it right now. I'm a hop on my Xbox and then come back to it. If it's still slow after that though...

Yeah these 1-3gb files usually take 15mins tops. Last week the sh*t d/l effortlessly and Homeland wasnt even done airing, so it cant be that breh.
Also, I dont know what kind of fukkery is going on, but the last 3 or 4 filies are taking forever.

I guess it'll eventually catch up to me but astraweb still got me 
so I have no need to switch for now. I'll keep watching this thread though...

Yeah I grabbed TDKR without issues couple days ago.
Yea they been throttling the shyt every Sunday right around 9:00 when Dexter, Boardwalk, TWD end for like 2-3 hours. Besides the last two weeks (this and last week) it's been like that for about a month around here. Dexter dl'd in like 3 minutes today, and the 2 gig early release of homeland in about 20 minutes.
That's with astraweb. Haven't had many problems with it, but I don't like the way it looks like it's going.

Same here. I was able to download bluray rips of lawless and dark knight rises without any drop in speed.
