OB4CL2 may have been more consistent

but stillmatic had ether, so I am definitely choosing stillmatic. NAS simply had more remarkable songs on his album.

I voted for rae but damn i really cant pick between both honestly. I see people call OBFL2 consistent but there's only one song I dont like on stillmatic. Both classics but damn op that is a tough choice

Stillmatic because it answered the game's questions about Nas. And, standing by itself, it is a classic. :NasWinsAgain:

But OB4CL2 gets respect for its consistency and its themes throughout. IMO, it's like Scorcese's Departed. Rae, like Scorcese did to Internal Affairs, took a classic (OB4CL) and, instead of trying to show how much he switched his style, he modernized and fulfilled it. And it's awesome how Rae and Ghost STILL have that impeccable chemistry.

Cuban Linx 2 getting destroyed :francis:

Nikkas saying it's boring, no surprise :jbhmm:

Stillmatic ain't really a sequel but Cuban Linx 2 isn't better in no ways. Cuban Linx 2 is consistent? Consistent at what racking up forgettable songs?

One has classics the other one doesn't. One made an impact in the game the other didn't.

Cuban Linx 2 has no tracks on the level of 2nd Childhood, You're da Man, The Flyest, Destroy & Rebuild, Rewind.

For real. The 'consistency of album' struggle-argument always sounds dumb, because you know it's code for 'mediocrity'.

An album's dopeness is rated strictly on number of standout songs. that's it. not how cohesive or well-mixed or whatever bullshyt these guys wanna gymnast
