Most constituencies have specific issues and legislation that they want passed. And they have lobby groups and pacs that they funnel money to advocate for those specific things.

This site promotes a backwards way of looking at politics. Dudes say "what are politicians going to offer for my support?". I don't think negotiations of any sort work well if you don't enter knowing specifically what you want.

"Tangibles" is a YTer term that trivializes how modern politics work, in my opinion.
Okay, it sounds like what you're saying is the epitome of a oxymoron. You say "negotiations don't work unless you come to the table and know what you want".

So my question to you is okay we can agree you have to have a seat at the table, but what’s the universal code for what black people want?

We want dance offs? fish frys, rap videos telling us to get our booties to the pole, Church “leaders” telling us to vote?

You trivialize the word “tangible” as if it’s a dirty word.

Who are the representatives who speak for us that have a large platform and not in the pocket of the DNC? No one… the grassroots is not large enough.

I don’t understand what’s wrong with asking for something when your biggest constituency got you elected and we came to the “table” and so for it’s been:

stop Asian hate
LGBT
Afghan rescue
LGBT
covid crisis
LGBT

It’s all wash rinse & repeat…

Above the fray.

This is a rambling post. I said that different constituencies have agendas and legislation that they promote. They have organizations and hire political contractors to promote said objectives directly to elected officials and candidates.

Your comments about "universal codes" and "reps who are not in the pocket of Dem.s" seem like deflections.

Nah it’s not rambling at all nor am I deflecting. Again this is my conjecture but you are trying to come off as some sort of pseudo intellectual on voting but you cannot answer direct questions. I don’t even know your ethnicity but it’s very telling that you’re taking that angle.

First response is from exactly who he shytted on in this clip :russ:

"Not resonating" :mjlol:

If Obama could run again he would get 99% of the Black vote like he did the first two times. Belee dat.

Some of yall live on the coli. Obama is still one of the most admired public figures in the world let alone the black community. Maybe on theColi where a bunch of kids roleplaying as militant strategists Obama was nothing but rhetoric. The rest of us remember the President who reversed an economy in a freefall with pro middle class policies, created more new jobs than any admin ever, reformed our healtjcqre system, protected us from like 3 or 4 different viruses, and first set the stages for effective police reform.

Its the whole "if it wasnt for us exclusively it didnt happen or its secretly to our downfall. Obama is a c00n" coli narratives that makes no sense to anyone outside a handful of the same shyt posters here.

Only on the Coli and twitter do random black people run around claiming Obama doesn’t resonate, doesn’t matter etc. As if the vast majority of black people don’t still love that man. As if he couldn’t waltz into a third term if the constitution allowed it.

All of this 100 percent.
