The problem is the idea of removing dictators to install democracy. Democracy doesn't exist without an educated, armed populace. All you do is open up a power vacuum for somebody else to come in. Americans have tried this with Iraq, Vietnam, Syria, Venezuela, Ecuador, Palestine, Haiti, etc etc etc. Dictators exist for a reason, the people let them come to power. If people were willing to die rather than live under a dictator, dictators wouldn't exist. Most people just really ain't 'bout that revolutionary job, they want to work and go homeAll successful revolutions (e.g. Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Mexico, Russia, France) came from within, not without. If you want to install democracy you can't just drop bombs, you need a 30 year stabilization plan, you gotta educate, arm the populace, be present for 3-4 elections, and then you can leave. But then again maybe what we want is the power vacuums, a lot of money in destabilization

The stories told from this article have nothing to do with the Libyan Gov't or Gaddafi. Misrata and Bengazhi are some of the worst places in Libya because they are terrorist ties there. Gaddafi even says those are b*stard towns. Funny how HRW protected the smugglers names.

What Gaddafi said about black Africans in his green book is pretty well known, for God's sake the book was published in 1976 and it was translated to many languages, here is a link in arabic that contains an excerpt about his thoughts on black people, chapter 3: 'The blacks' you can read it yourself or copy and paste it on Google translator or other online translators if you don't understand arabic.

The green book is full of dumb and funny stuff, I actually advice you to buy a copy or find one online and read it you will have a blast reading the inner thoughts and the brilliance of king of Africa.
