Honestly, the only way we get reparations is if Republicans are all voted out. They just aren't going to even listen to the conversation, let alone grant it. They are planted in being fiscally conservative, no way in hell they give 17 trillion to ADOS, hell let alone even 1 trillion.

It was bound to happen whether Trump was president or not and that's purely because
of the lack of checks to the wealthy and their ability to manipulate government in their favor.

These people didn't just "slip" into poverty, they were already right at the edge of it because

It takes 51 votes out of 100 votes to pass a bill in Senate, it takes 218 of 435 votes to pass a bill in Congress.

Pelosi rn can implement Darity's edits to HR 40 and put the bill up for vote in Congress(Dem majority of the House rn).

In addition, Hispanic is an ethnicity that has people of various races, so you are not able to target them as one. You can win new states with Black People electorally, and Republicans are aware of that and trying to win new Black guys as voters because of that. Hispanics also have amongst the lowest voter participation
