Obama's conversation doesn't stem from whether or not ADOS are worthy. More so, How do you administer reparations without empowering other groups who aren't deserving? Most ADOS orgs are trying to understand the scope and proper-administration.

Obama's response was My Brother's Keeper (MBK). He went into areas of AA-density and give funding to grassroots orgs as well as incentivized private companies to provide jobs for Black boys/men.

There's Black people who owned other Black people, some did it to buy there relatives from slavery some did it just to make money. The point is All Black people were effected by slavery

Most 80's babies are 5 generations removed from slavery.

Most of our Great-Grandparents were born around 1900-1910.

I was born in 1986 and knew 2 of my Great-Grandparents.

One born in 1907 and the other born in 1909.

My Greatgrandfather was born in 1890 and died in 1978. His wife would I remember died in the mid 80's Both of them probably knew several people who were enslaved. You can check tax records and stud books (we were considered cattle) and DNA to determine who is who. If you wanted you can literally determine who owned who and make them pay the people they owned. For example some of the land near where FED EX Field is was owned until very recently by a family that got rich off of slavery. It would be easy to trace the people they owned and use the procedes of the sale of that land to pay off the enslaved folks ancestors.

If you were that concerned about them blowing the money you could set up a trust for them and make money off the money owed and use that to pay off the money slowly. And I didn't do a study to figure that out
