Meh..... maybe one day black people will realize WE need to get more into politics and take over some of these offices so WE can be in these rooms to hear what’s going on behind the scenes, make our voices heard, and GAIN and USE our power for our needs.

Republicans called Trumps coup out as horrible too. When it came down to it the republicans had to come together cause let’s face it they were on the verge of an internal war. The matter of the fact is that we need both dems and repubs. Looking at either side as the enemy is in no way shape or form good for the country.

And overall..... in the timeframe of the last 5 years they have ample amount of time to “call him out” or nip shyt in the bud like “no we not gonna do this” but no! No one ever did, the let that madman run rampant and only a small few did way after shyt went too far.
I do agree that both sides are necessary and no one should be “the enemy”
But one side has play the antagonist way more than the other and in the present environment ain’t no one trynna hear them cry “I’m not the bad guy”
I would much rather have had an unapologetic, 'Trump-like', one-term Obama that actually went to bat for blacks than the pandering, placating version we got who can do everything for everyone else except his own people. This is the same guy that ousted Gaddafi and threatened/lectured African nations over LGBT, but he's too scared and has to tip-toe with anything black, but wants Pookie and Ray-Ray to run to the polls and drop in a blue ballot.
At least Trump was unapologetic about serving his base and they liked him so much they were willing to storm the capitol. What we got is a weak, pandering politician who racist whites HATED ANYWAYS. His pandering didn't make them like him any more. Why are Dems afraid of 'racist whitey' only when it comes to getting stuff for black people? They are perfectly fine calling those same people bigots and trying to get them fired when it comes to lgbt. Somehow they aren't afraid of lifting that green card ban which will mean more competition for American jobs and they aren't afraid of the mean racist white man.
At the end of the day, all we hear is excuse after excuse when it comes to delivering for American blacks and they keep delivering these excuses because they know they got the population in the bag. Folks will keep on running to the poll despite getting nothing but empty promises in return.

Trump was in our way. Literally. His whole goal in office was to disenfranchise and set black ppl back decades if not a century. He was literally an existential threat to black ppl as his non handling of covid caused the deaths of many black ppl and put many of our lives at risk. Not to mention him actively getting his supporters riled up to attack and maim and kill black ppl. Trump was in our way.
Biden won't get in our way. He's not going to do the things above. Even if he never does anything FOR black ppl, as long as he just stays the hell out of black ppls way, I can live with that

But in so many words I can tell you for a fact my life changed DRAMATICALLY with high HIGHS and low LOWS over the years depending on who the President was.
One of my highs was in the Obama era when I was able to buy my house.
Not to mention the people around me and how I’ve seen different offices effect them too
