just because you rich doesn't mean you're required to assist every distant relative. everybody has relatives like that, someone you've never met in your life but grandma has a photo of them in the family album. Not saying you shouldn't help out relatives who aren't close to you, but you shouldn't act like its an obligation of theirs to do so, and at the very least you should attempt to forge an actual relationship with them before dragging them in the media over money. you married with four kids and i never got an invite or a christmas card but suddenly i'm a deadbeat because you can't afford to buy them new school clothes? foh

I know him and Obama are not close and his brother even shytted on Obama a few times during his presidency. But if you’re pulling in 20-30 million dollars a year in book sales/speaking engagements and Wall Street consulting 
you could probably set your half brother up with a very basic apartment for 1-1.5K a month and some money for food. That wouldn’t really cost him shyt per year and wouldn’t be a burden at all. But Barry’s living it up in his Hampton home while his brother lives in squalor

Not my responsibility to make him successful if he a healthy able bodied grown man. Only people i would take a sole responsibility like that for would be my kids, my parents, and my girl. step siblings, close friends, cousins etc, thats a collective effort, meaning i could contribute along with others. I hear on facebook they trying to raise money to help so and so, i'll throw a nice donation in. but i'm not taking personal responsibility for changing their life,
