I actually agree with the POTUS on this.

White people don't put themselves in a box. They don't put a cap on what white people are supposed to be doing. Black people do, however. The "acting black" thing is self-imposed by the black community and is generally a way of reinforcing the exact stereotypes that we say that we all aren't

How was the point missed? If Obama is saying that there are no set characteristics/behaviors that make someone black yet people criticize Iggy for "acting black" (or mocking us) then how is @LA Fisher wrong?

he's absolutely right. black men are indoctrinated by a culture of low expectations, and millions of them regularly submit to the idea that an authentic black man dresses a certain way and speaks with ebonics. it's high time someone said this, and i'm glad obama was the one to do it.
