this format sucks. Its going to be too polite and they won't challenge each other or rebutt each other.

Both first answers were standard politician stuff. See Obama said spending more on education like so much isn't being spent on it already.

its interesting, because its more conducive to forcing the participants to detail their own positions rather than debate point by point (although that is there)

i think its nice, although i think this should be first and 1 on 1 second (reverse the order of the 1st and 3rd debates)
