Obama made a tongue-in-cheek throwaway remark, which he quickly followed with admission that he’s not encountered any aliens nor evidence of their existence. This wasn’t meant to be interpreted as some sort of disclosure

He’s simply saying what many have said before - statistically - it’s impossible for alien life not to exist/have existed at some point somewhere. Are they short, green, three fingered intelligent beings in aluminum suits that like doing drive-bys by earth in their spare time? Probably not. But like another breh said - just by sheer size of the universe, number of star systems and potentially habitable exoplanets - it’s impossible that nobody/nothing else won the life lottery at some point

Is this coming from a point of view of believing that all the ufo sightings and detailed military accounts of encounters are false? Because there’s nothing there that tells us that what is seen completely follows what we know to be our laws. We can see and manipulate all dimensions under ours, why wouldn’t dimensions above us act the same? Them “visiting” isn’t really something we’d necessarily have to notice or even comprehend it happening in real time I think the arrogance comes with believing what else is out there exists in a dimension just like this following our understanding of science.

Yes, because no footage definitively shows anything that couldn't be mad made or a natural occurrence. There is no smoking gun. And given how advanced US military tech is, the simplest explanation is always that it's something that hasn't been made public yet. Imagine seeing the B2 Spirit Bomber before it was publicly revealed. It would be real easy to assume it was an alien aircraft if you saw that shyt in 1991 when it was covertly being tested.

I hate this shyt so much because the people that run with this kind of thing never take the time to research what actual PHYSICISTS say about the possibility of such things. It’s part of the world we live in where the average buffoon thinks his feelings or some shyt he saw on social media by some random account is as good as the people who actually dedicate their lives to trying to understand how things work.

For anyone interested in actually hearing what a physicist has to say, giving actual science based details here is a video. Spoiler alert: even if there was the possibility of a technologically advanced civilization existing somewhere out there the chances that they can visit here is minimum. And adding to that our time period is less than a fraction of a millisecond compared to the history of the universe so even if it was possible for them to traverse distances of space to get here the odds that they would exist alongside us is so astronomically low it’s actually not really worth considering.

At the end of the day only two things should convince anyone that aliens ever visited Earth- a ship or a body. That’s it.
