I think this just proves that the Dems in 2009-2010 should have done a simple thing with regards to health care.

1. Impose the new rules on insurance companies. Cover pre-existing conditions, stay on parent plan till 26, etc

2. Expand Medicaid. I think this should have been rolled out much sooner than 2014. Should have been done in 2009 and framed as a way to help people out on their luck due to the recession. People seeing that would have been a political winner and could have competed vs. the 2010 Koch Head Tea Party BS.

3. Stop the price gouging. This is tough as the Pharma, Hospitals, etc got off free in 2010 with no rate setting and no mechanisms to stop hospitals charging whatever... and the drug companies got off free too..

Roberts has basically said its up to congress and elected officials to kill it. The last house of rep did their part, McCain saved it in the end. But enough damage has already been done. At the end of the day, if the SC ruled to let this judgement stand, all the investigations into Trump, the NRA, Russia, etc..that we all know that the GOP are caught up in, and we hoped would decimate the party.....all that shyt won’t matter. THIS will destroy the GOP, they absolutely know it, and I promise you, there is no way that turtle can shine this shyt. Actual people dying weighs a fukkton more than “muh mandate”, and all the Dems are already supercharged, now more and more Republicans are gonna hit the eject button on the grand ole’, and 2020 is gonna be a fukking bloodbath.
Trump is so fukking stupid, he is going to embrace this, but Turtle is going to go into full damage control, and try to move as far away from this as possible. I bet dollars to doughnuts that they have already looked into a way to drop this whole thing.

My understanding is liberals not only want them to be able to come and work, but for it to be easier and more streamlined...removing the need for corrupt hiring practices and increasing the flow...
