I love Cheers but no. GRODT is better song for song. The Dre songs and some others on Cheers are great though (Follow my Life, We All Die One Day)

Very underrated album but I dont know about better that grodt.

I was always confused about why obie never popped off during those aftermath days. Cheers had hits, obie was a good rapper, features were good, and had the most powerful machine in hip hop at the time behind him.

Second rounds on me was good too.

What happened?

What held Cheers back is "Got Some Teeth". Obie was a better rapper and got better production from Dre and Eminem than 50 did. I wasn't feeling the Timbaland track either, but overall, Cheers was a solid debut. "Oh No" was crazy and one of my favorite Dre productions.
