KD threw game 6. he played completely out of character. ive never seen him force up so many dumb shots. they beat san antonio and got a lead on GS because they trusted waiters and ibaka and they delivered. idk wtf he was doing game 6

anyway, i believe he couldve won in OKC if he stayed, and they kept waiters or got another good wing player. :manny:
and a win there wouldve been much sweeter. this shyt in GS was too easy. maybe one day he will win a ring he really had to fight for. he would cherish more no doubt

Russy was not the best at getting KD at his best scoring spots. That much I do know. But if he would have fell back on the scoring a bit and worried more about passing then the Thunder would have eventually broke through and won a ring.

I'm mad it took the 14th post for somebody to make sense
:mjlol:

Ya, it's not the fact that they didn't have a Klay Thompson and Draymond Green with them out there in OKC rather than it just being those 2. Some of you are seriously so fukking stupid it hurts.

Didn't you just make a thread calling Draymond nothing more than a mere role player :dwillhuh:

Bullshyt.

KD did his thing in the finals but it's clear that the same dynamic he had with Russ is the same as the one he has with Steph...he's the better player by a margin but that doesn't mean he's the better leader or has more heart. He just has more physical advantages.

Durant is so tall that sometimes shorter defenders were album to get in his space in a way they couldn't do Russ. They could have worked that shyt out...nobody was forcing Durant to ISO at the 3 point line. Donovan hadn't even had time to install his system and get people to gel yet.

Nah fam.

Everybody points to game 7 to blame westbrook.

Ignoring the fact that Durant played like shyt in game 5 and 6. He was completely passive and settled for jumpers as opposed to slashing.

they needed another legit scorer for him to feel like he could fall back. they should not have let harden go, obviously
i feel like there was a breakthrough though last year in the playoffs. i remember they were really up and down the whole regular season, then in the playoffs they were a different team, up until KD lost his mind in game 6, which caused russ to do the same.

if they would have stayed the course they would have had a great year this year. russ understands the importance of getting the other guys involved now. he made the effort all year to try and create for them which is no easy task when you dont have good offensive weapons.

ATL - Cleveland Ave.
I knew that stat would be posted. Just means he has the ball in his hands a lot and it often ended up with KD taking a contested shot. Not the good looks that a system that Golden State consistently gets him.
:stopitslime: So now you magically know how open those assists were? It was good enough for KD to join the 50/40/90 club. It was enough to get to the WCF-- and it was enough to be up 3-1 against a 73 win team. The BBIQ on the Coli is embarrassingly low. Just a bunch of highlight warriors and emotional hot takes. nikkas on here don't even have cable to watch most nationally televised games. So I know folks not paying the extra money for League Pass to really watch reg season games.
