Odell Beckham just hit Nike for $25m. Tell me again how BBB is winning?

Nothing but a well paid slave.

But I can understand why that's a dream to many nikka here. Slave mentality is still very prevalent amongst blacks unfortunately.
these muthafukkas are stupid as hell

nfl is making way more money than nba, and nfl's so called star players are earning way less than a regular nba nikka. These idiots giving racist nfl examples like ohhh look at this nfl superstar earning 5mill per year off a deal :mjlol: while them jewish owners are making 10 times more

What kind of endorsement deal do u think Lonzo would have got?

How many rookies over the last 15 years got a significant deal?

Is Lonzo even In the national spotlight without his dad?

Lonzo is a top pick in this year's draft and based on how the draft is slotted this year, Lonzo will play in a major market which would only enhance his marketability with a major shoe company. I think it's very possible that he could've negotiated a deal similar to Wiggins especially since he had multiple shoe companies (Nike, UA, Adidas) interested in him.

But I think you're missing the point I'm trying to make. Lonzo could've had a million dollar shoe deal, but his father got in the way of that to create and market a shoe that has had at best sold a few hundred pair. Now Lavar is unwilling to negotiate with a major shoe company unless they give him 3 billion dollars. Do you really think these are the moves of a smart business man?

Football players don't know their worth. They're this country's biggest sport, and yet get the short end of the financial stick. Baseball, basketball, and soccer players are cashing out while arguably the NFL's biggest star is celebrating a $5M/yr contract.

Tf if bbb can sell a few million they can get hundreds of millions dollars from nike rather than signing 80 million dollar contract they forcing nike to up the ante cause nike itself makes hundreds of millions to billions off athletes. Its giving the athlete a bigger part of the pie when it comes to shoe deals lavar a genuis

You do know by normal sales numbers.
you have to factor in that Kobe only sells like 50 million in shoe sales.
before his retirement and just cracked a 100 million in sales after retirement just recently. [Kobe sold six times less shoes than lebron before his retirement and his shoe is lapped by Durant with four times higher sales as well] Where the shoe is priced more than three times Lower than bbb.
So, I think you should take 10% percent of that 50 to 100 m in sales.
if you wanted to be fair to bbb as far as knock offs. Plus the fact it is priced five times higher than a Kobe and inferior in design and patterned after the Kobe vi which is old now. I don't see bbb just off standard market research doing well at all.

At most they could sell 2000 shoes and that is being generous. Which probably won't happen because the same way they failed to do market research to do the shoe. They probably failed in doing market research on how to physically launch amd roll out the shoe to consumers who purchased the product. Thus ruining brand loyalty.
before they can ever recoup or go back and get a larger run of stock as well.
Plus we know they are not selling well because no issues with traffic ever arose from a frenzy as well.

Ill never understand how cats who for the most part are working 9to5's (which there is nothing wrong with by the way) can say cats are slaves for getting endorsement money. These cats getting paid to do what we pay to do and are able to take care of generations if they spend it wisely. I know the coli financial analyst will be coming with the hater stats soon enough. Good for OBJ and anybody else that can make it. Hell I hope BBB make it too I'm not a hater esp when cats actually trying to do something instead of just talking.

My thoughts exactly. Owning a business is great, the ambition is great, it's value is great.

But let's be real. We often don't do business right, it's more capitalizing off hype than building something to last.

I agree with setting it up to make profit from the jump, because you want to bout value in your brand.... but the reality is the design which should be the focus is poor. The cost is too high. And it's too focused on Lonzo success.
