to be fair though.... a lot of it is warranted.
he is such a polarizing player.
Great physical talents. great skater, puck handler. great defenseman.
but he is still lacking tha maturity to take it to the nexxt level.
I love his intensity, but every now and then he just makes these stupid plays. and his chirping at his own players on the bench, and taking out smaller now fighters and avoiding the real tough guys really show where this dude is at.
Sometimes I love him, and sometimes I fukkin can't stand him.

It ain't warranted dude. He is under a massive microscope unlike any of his peers. Every single thing he does gets analyzed to the T. The reaction he gets from media + fans is not even close to being in line with his actual behaviour. I'm a Sens fans through and through but its very very obvious that being a confident black dude in hockey is a death knell. Not a coincidence that a guy like Jordan Kane gets the exact same reaction in Winnipeg.
Funny thing is if you were just going off the vitroil he faces from fans and media you'd think this dude is like a mix between T.O. and Lawrence Phillips. Place him into a sober context outside of the weird rationalism of the hockey world and he's the most unassuming, nonthreatening guy around. It's actually laughable to think he's one of the most hated guys in the sport. It's not a coincidence that when people have to explain their hate it usually boils down to him being "cocky" and "selfish".

Not gonna happen this summer or any summer, PK is a Hab for life. He doesn't face any cism from the media here, it's mostly from CBC and TSN which are based in Toronto.
The Weekes banana thing was an isolated incident and Ted Nolan coached in redneck ass Chicoutimi, not Montreal.
