Hockey is a regional sport. Very popular or even a lifestyle for some but the lack of POC make it tough for me to appreciate, thing so no, most of us don't care. I was going to support team Canada until the scratched Subban so now idgaf.

its not a rich white sport in Canada

its just an average middle class sport. Lots of families work hard just to put their kids in hockey
