I don't care for the 'cism at all, but if you want to look at his play objectively, then he didn't really play that well.
he was caught out of position a few times, and even game up a really good breakway scoring chance.
he can't play that reckless against better teams.
he's an all or nothing type player(similar to Karlsson) and both those guys can get away with cheating and play high and aggressive. but they won't be able to do that here. Not against the good teams.
we are basically talking about all the best teams having all star like lineups out there.
we need solid strong play from the D, not necessarily an offensive defensemen.
we have PLENTY of scoring.
Honestly though, if we are just looking at this team, and this tournament overall. PK would be best in limited minutes at full strength but used alot on special teams.

I heard commentators say he played an intelligent game and played within himself, didn't showboat, checked back on rushes and and supplied the puck when he could providing some chances for his wings and forwards to score. Cacs are going to cac but guys on NBC SN were stanning for him pretty good and they are NOT pro subban. They said today's roster was great for the most part and subban should remain in the lineup. I bet he gets some more ice time but not sure he will see much in a close game.
i was listening to the radio and the dudes on tsn 1210 or whatever were sayign the ame, that pk made no mistakes, he played a great game and this is the lineup canada should go with from now (no sharp no hamhuis)

karlsson is playing 25 minutes a gnight still playing the same way, the good teams? lol the good teams are not even as good as top tier nhl teams, russia top 6 dmen wouldn even cut it on any nhl roster, usa roster is

Ah, nice to see this thread here!
I'm really enjoying these games; a lot more than I originally thought actually. Luckily we have some huge screens at work where I can sit down and watch the games all day long.
So far the Women's Curling, Ice Hockey, and a lot of the other random sports have really interested me (Skeleton, Luge, speed skating, etc).
As a brother who holds white women (or cacs as it seems to be on here!) close to my heart, I've been swooning over so many of the ladies, especially Kaitlyn Lawes of the Canadian Womens Curling team
and so many others in random sports
Anyway, looking forward to the Ruskies vs the Yanks...
