I don't care for the 'cism at all, but if you want to look at his play objectively, then he didn't really play that well.
he was caught out of position a few times, and even game up a really good breakway scoring chance.

he can't play that reckless against better teams.

he's an all or nothing type player(similar to Karlsson) and both those guys can get away with cheating and play high and aggressive. but they won't be able to do that here. Not against the good teams.

we are basically talking about all the best teams having all star like lineups out there.
we need solid strong play from the D, not necessarily an offensive defensemen.

we have PLENTY of scoring.

Honestly though, if we are just looking at this team, and this tournament overall. PK would be best in limited minutes at full strength but used alot on special teams.

Just say you didnt watch the game...He was playing a 7th d-men shift...and dudes are actively looking at his shifts and dissecting them like he was playing top mins...and miss me with the def mistakes when 2 of there so called top 3 d-men have been caught several times out of position in 2 games and 1 in particular (Keith) has made some atrocious defensive zone mistakes including one that lead to Norways lone goal in the first game...

Miss me with the phony and blind PK 7th defenseman hate unless you can be objective about the 4 d-men in front of him playing the real mins back there...

Ur dissecting him taking chances against fckn Austria...:snoop:

I don't think he was all that bad, but he did look a little nervous but that's to be expected in an Olympic debut, especially one as heavily scrutinized as his He was definitely not horrible like some like to believe. I think he still has alot to offer the team with his skating ability on the big ice. Ice time will be hard to come by though because of the quality and track record of the dmen ahead of him.

Ryan McDonagh looked great on that last penalty kill. Stupid ass Gainey had to trade him for Scott Gomez. :snoop:

The narrative is based in cism..Hes no worse defensively than 2 defensemen playing more mins considered ahead of him on the depth charts....Whats crazy is they will lose a game and play miserable defnesively with him in the press box and those same fakkits will create posts with his name in it...

:heh:

the conversation was about Subban, not about the other defensemen. if you want to talk about every player then lets do that.
but don't try to change the focus because you can't look at things objectively when discussing PK

I don't hate PK, and I actually think he's a good player, and my favorite player on the Canadiens.

but I can also look at all the players when discussing them and be objective. just like I was with karlsson.

I never said he played bad, but he didn't play great.
I also said he should continue to stay on the team, but on THIS team, his strengths are what I mentioned, and where he can be used best.
