A good portion of the PK scrutiny is racial. It's clear as day. PK is not playing because of his perceived attitude. Has nothing to do with his play. Is it all racial? No. But there's a lot wrong with the hate PK receives when he's such a nice guy. He's booed in every arena. He's constantly labeled as having an NBA/NFL player attitude and mentality. His head coach refuses to give him any praise but will praise lesser players. He plays and acts like a nikka and a lot of folk in the hockey world don't like that.

Hamhuis, Vlasic, JBow getting play over PK? Canada can't even score on a goalie who colapsed on the ice and a team who played yesterday. It's fukking Latvia!!! PK not dressing is retarded. Kunitz getting a spot over MSL (if stamkos doesn't get injured, bye bye MSL) and Giroux. Laughable.

Yea its real. I am not surprised that there exists a dumbass amongst Canada fans because we have those idiots too but I am surprised by 3 things.

1)He had the means to get to Sochi
2)He wasn't harangued out of Bolshoi center
3)The Russians allowed such an image to be taken on their premise. This is already going viral and will not help Canada's perceived image of being the enlightened, pleasant cousin to America. We might not ice any black players this year but if we did and he was the best defenseman of the year he would be getting plenty of ice time. He would not be treated like an unruly 8th defenseman.

As much as folks up here like to brag about how Canada is "the most tolerant country on Earth", racism and ignorance is still alive and well amongst hockey fans. This isn't the first blackface incident where someone was "supporting" Subban.
