So just watched the replay (in quick time lol) and Team Canada really gave them the work. that Latvian goalie made some pretty great saves.
how did that dude get away with gloving the puck out of the net?? wtf was that shyt?

as for the upcoming game vs the USA

this will be a great game. I know a lot of talk has been about the Americans putting up lots of goals but they have been playing against some horrible defences. and their own defence is gonna be their weak spot. 4 lines of the Canadians coming after them will be a tough match.
Quick better be up to taking a lot of shots.

I also think this game will be different because both will be playing a more North American style of game. which IMO kinda leans in Canada's favour.

but I'm not gonna jump to conclusions and say Canada will dominate this game though.

but I think this will definitely be a one goal game and Canada should make it happen

As for Friday it goes like this: if Canada does not win, it will be the biggest loss in some time and there will be question as to wheteher canada is the top hockey nation anymore. As long as all the big stars play in america and keep having american kids (lemieux, gretzky, yzerman, trottier, etc.) america will continue to have a fast developing system. We have been ass at the world juniors too for a little while.

when pk has always made his partner better yet never gets the benefity of the doubt. I remember bum ass slow hal gill was finished as anhl player but paired with pk dude got another more years out of it, and they were giving hal gill priase @JLova knows what i mean. Same with scrubs like josh georges and andei markov who is done as a top 4 defenceman .

The Darryl Katz Mafia has been destroying hockey in Canada for a minute. it started with the Oilers BS, then Canada lost in Buffalo WJCs, followed by the string of crap since. The fact people are talking Torino, Nagano is not good. In fact World Cup 96 and Nagano are tied by one thing and this the influence of the US. 1998/ Nagano was supposed to beat the US and we forgot everyone else. Why? because we lost to the US in the 1996 world cup.

2018 probably won't have nhl players. But Canada is stacked with players. That isn't the problem, need better coaching. And like I said earlier, Hockey is a very competitive sport. This isn't basketball, where only Spain is good enough to scare the USA. Hockey is ahead in competition.

Nathan Mackinnon in a few years will be a beast. Stamkos, Crosby, and most of the current team is pretty young.

and Canada hockey is fine. This just shows that all the other teams are pretty good too. this doesn't show that Canada has regressed, its just showing that everyone else is (has) caught up with Canada.
