I mean yea if you're a Hillary supporter or anti-Trump, I could see why you might feel that Trump is getting shytted on. But in reality I don't think speeches like these are going to change anyone's mind.

If you're a Trump supporter all this "we are the world" bullshyt doesn't play. Trump's entire ethos is we can't afford to play this game right now because the stakes are too high.

We really gotta wait until the debates to see how this shapes up. He's already made this far, I'm not doubting him anymore. Although I don't believe he's faced anyone nearly as strong as Hillary yet.

The convention isn't about changing minds, it's about energizing the base.

Do you not understand how dangerous it is to place them both on that same stage and pretend that they are some sort of "two sides of the same coin"?

It started out as an issue focused on blacks being murdered by police officers. The democrats have made it an issue of "both sides need to end the violence".

You're the one that doesn't seem to understand the politics. They are throwing black people under the bus again, and some of us are smart enough not to lap this shyt up.

And that "ending the violence" angle ends up being the decades-old lecture telling black people to stop resisting, start snitching, and obey the law like a good citizen.
